Dhrumal Shah

 Dhrumal Shah is the Founder and Director at Aum Music Academy. Dhrumal is qualified as a Sangeet Visharad (B.A in classical vocal music) from Bruhad Gujarat Sangeet Samiti; an affiliate of Gandharva Mahavidhyala, Ahmedabad, India. She also excels in other forms of Indian music such as semi-classical, Indian folk, devotional and Bollywood music. She has an extensive range of experience in both the teaching and performing industry. Her passion for music has grown over the last 21 years as she has held more than 2000 live performances within UK and India in which she has been the lead and featured singer.

BACKGROUND

Dhrumal works closely with so many reputed organisations, charities and communities such as BAPS Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Neasden, Akshar Arts Academy (teaching music since last 10 years), Brent Indian Association and many other temples and organisations in UK to promote Indian music.

Dhrumal was introduced to classical music at the young age of 6 and since then, has won numerous singing competitions both at school and at university. The love and applause from audiences, has inspired her to continually strive for excellence and hone her journey to near-perfection. As well as being blessed with a melodious voice, Dhrumal has magnetic and rapturous stage presence that has enthralled musical connoisseurs worldwide.

HOW DID AUM MUSIC ACADEMY COME TO LIFE

Aum Music Academy is the realisation and amalgamation of her dream and passion for music and imparting that experience and knowledge on students from all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Music is an integral part of her soul and the academy is a huge leap forward towards fulfilling her life-long dreams.

Achievements

• Dhrumal was privileged to perform as a solo lead singer under her own banner as well as conducting the whole Navaratri event of 9 days at BAPS Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Neasden in September 2018,widely praised by her audience.
  
  
• Dhrumal and her students had the opportunity to perform twice at British Museum for  “London Interfaith Music festival” and made Indian art and culture proud  in March 2018 and May 2017.
  
  
• In Trafalgar square during the “Diwali in London” festival, Dhrumal and her students gave remarkable performance in October 2018.
  
  
• Dhrumal and her students performed at “Language show” festival held in Olympia in November 2018.
  
  
• Dhrumal has done more than 2000 live shows in many countries over last 21 years.
  
  
• She has done several recordings and lent her voice for jingles and private albums.
  
  
• Dhrumal was privileged to record a theme song for the “Kisan Rally” organised  by state Government of Gujarat and  inaugurated by the then Chief Minister of Gujarat Shree Narendra Modi.
  
  
• Dhrumal has won numerous singing competitions both at school and at university.
  
  
• Dhrumal made an early debut at the age of 15 and gave her first public solo vocal performance at the state level of Gujarat, India where she was awarded the 1st prize.
